Toddlers

Toddlers are children 12 months and walking to 2 ½ years old. In our Toddlers classrooms we introduce potty-training at 2 years old based on each child’s individual desire.

Some of the skills your toddler will be working on are:

Gross Motor:
Skips and runs well with agility and speed
Follows paths
Walks sideways, forward, backwards on a balance beam
Using a zipper and buttons

Kindergarteners

At Tree House Learning Center we provide care and transportation to Goddard, Maize, and Peterson for half and full day Kindergarteners. Half day Kindergarteners will participate in our Kindergarten Enrichment Program.  This is designed to make learning fun and exciting while enhancing your child’s experience by building on what your child is doing in their Kindergarten class. 

Some of the skills that your Kindergartener will be working on are:

Fine Motor: Writing with a pencil Drawing objects and pictures Cutting on lines Writing all letters and numbers Writing first and last names   Gross Motor: Kicking a ball while running Running in races Skips and runs well with agility and speed   Social/Emotional: Following multi-step directions Problem solving Learning how to treat yourself and others

Cognitive: Rote counting past 20 Remembering their birthday Remembering their address Remembering their phone number Retelling story stories Sounding out words Recognizing and writing site words Read number words 1-10

School-Agers

At Tree House Learning Center we provide care and transportation to and from school for Goddard, Maize, and Peterson students aged up to 12 years old. Our School-Ager Program is designed to provide fun and entertainment through art projects and group games before and after school. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, providing your child release from their day at school. We also encourage the children to do homework here at Tree House with help from the staff in order to have more time at home with parents and siblings!

School-Ager Summer Program

At Tree House Learning Center we provide a Summer Program for children that have completed Kindergarten to age 12. Our Summer Program is designed to make your child’s summer fun and enjoyable. Your child will go on many field trips including Papa John’s, The Wichita Eagle, Botanical Gardens, Exploration Place, Riverside Park, Sedgwick County Zoo, and many, many more! They will also go to the library once a week to check out books and participate in the Summer Reading Program they provide. We always keep our Summer Program full of fun and adventure!
